Why did we make Nibea... because of the lady on the plane.
My business partner and I were flying home from a business trip in Atlanta. On the plane we met a very nice lady who was struggling to get a website going to sell her printed fabrics.
She was told by a few galleries that she really needed a website so they could look at her work, and that it could help promote her talent. We learned that she had looked into many different options but they were either too technical or too expensive.
It became incredibly clear to us that she needed an easy way to get things on the web. After researching the whole web hosting space, we determined that there was an enormous gap that needs to be filled. Easy to use website tools that actually let you make sites that look good... Nibea was born.
